¸ñÀû: Forehead flaps are often used in nasal reconstruction surgery for
severe nasal defects, but in addition to the Forehead flap that
restores the skin, the mucosa inside the nose must also be restored.
In general, mucosa reconstruction is possible without difficulty, but
in cases of severe defects or severe mucosal deformation, skin
grafting or other flaps must be used in combination for
reconstruction. ¹æ¹ý:We retrospectively analyzed cases in which a special composite flap was
used or skin grafting was required simultaneously due to severe defects
during reconstructive surgery using the Forehead flap performed at our
hospital. In general, the Hindge flap is often used to reconstruct the
mucosa, but in cases where reconstruction is difficult due to severe
defects, complete nasal stenosis, or mucosal deformation after radiation
therapy, the Groin skin graft or Melolabial flap was used simultaneously
to correct the defects. °á°ú:Most of the results were good, but there were dissatisfaction issues
such as necrosis of the flap or skin, stenosis of the nasal cavity, and
asymmetry of scars with different skin colors. °á·Ð:Reconstructive surgery of the nose requires the creation of both the
mucosa and the skin outside the framework. Sometimes, it is difficult
to reconstruct the mucosa, so a forearm-free flap, etc. is used.
However, since the surgery is complex, the methods used by the author
were simpler and produced good results. |
