¸ñÀû: The present study aims to evaluate clinical characteristics of CXPA
and PA, and to identify factors associated with differential
diagnosis of these conditions.
¹æ¹ý:We reviewed the medical records of 6 CXPA and 127 PA patients
treated surgically at our institution from 2008 to 2024. °á°ú:Univariate analysis showed significant differences in factors of spontaneous pain (p = 0.044), facial nerve palsy (p = 0.045), and subjective enlargement (p < 0.01) between CXPA and PA patients. On magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings, proportions of masses with irregular margins, localization in deep lobe, and low levels of apparent diffusion co-efficient (ADC) were significantly higher among patients with CXPA than among those with PA (p < 0.01, p = 0.048, and p < 0.01, respectively). Multivariate analysis identified spontaneous pain and masses with irregular margins associated with CXPA (p = 0.047, p = 0.013). °á·Ð:A symptom of spontaneous pain and masses with irregular margins
could be a factor suggesting CXPA rather than PA. Low levels of
ADC indicated the possibility of CXPA. Regarding the difference
in ADC values between CXPA and PA patients, accumulating a larger
number of these cases would be necessary for more accurate
analysis. |
