This case series evaluates the use of rib grafts and titanium mandibular
prostheses/reconstruction plates for managing fibro osseous lesions. Ten
patients underwent surgical resection followed by rib graft placement
and mandibular reconstruction plate. The outcomes showed favorable
results with minimal complications. Parameters like implant exposure,
malocclusion, mouth opening, and contour restoration were assessed
postoperatively. Facial asymmetry was corrected in 7 out of 10 patients,
and functional outcomes were restored in 6 patients. This approach
provides excellent aesthetic and functional results with limited donor
site morbidity and low risk of infection.
