목적: Vocal polyps and nodules are one of the most popular reason that makes voice trouble. Laryngeal microscopic surgery is good method to management vocal polyps and nodules. However, improvement of voice quality after operation is not always follows and many methods are developing for better outcome of the surgery. The aim of present study was to investigate the effect of triamcinolone injection on vocal cord to quality of voice who got laryngeal microscopic surgery because of vocal polyp or vocal nodule. 방법:The medical records of patients, who were operated at the Department of the OtorhinolaryngologyHead and Neck Surgery in Korea University Ansan Hospital between May 2014 and December 2014 with the diagnosis of vocal polyp or vocal nodule, were retrospectively reviewed.The patient group was divided by two which patients were got triamcinolone injection and which were not.The Quality of voice was evaluated by fundamental frequency, jitter, shimmer and NHR(Noise to harmonic ratio) at previous operation, 4weeks after operation, 8weeks after operation. 결과:The quality of voice was improved after laryngeal microscopic surgery each four components statistically significantly. The voice quality of the group which triamcinolone injection at vocal cord was better than another group each four components statistically significantly. 결론:Triamcinolone injection on vocal cord at laryngeal microscopic operation may improved post operative voice quality.
