There are a variety of causes of sudden sensorineural hearing loss which include viral infections, vascular occlusion, and autoimmune disorders. In most cases no specific cause is found. Otitis media is one of the most common ear disease and it induces many changes in middle ear including hyperemia, edema and inflammatory cells infiltration, and it can cause sensorineural hearing loss as a serious sequelae. But sudden sensorineural hearing loss after acute otitis media is rarely reported. In the case we present a bilateral sudden sensorineural hearing loss patient who had acute otitis media on both ear.
