목적: Recently, immunotherapy get the limelight for complete cure method in allergic rhinitis. Several clinical trials reported that intralymphatic immunotherapy (ILIT) for allergic rhinitis has faster symptom improvement after only 3 injections and less local and systemic side effects. However, the efficacy and safety of ILIT against various allergens in allergic rhinitis still remains to be investigated. We evaluated the efficacy and adverse effect in ILIT against house dust mite, cat, and dog allergens in allergic rhinitis. 방법:A total of 10 patients with allergic rhinitis sensitized to Dermatophagoides farinae, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, cat, or dog allergen were treated with 3 intralymphatic inguinal injections of causal allergen extract (HollisterStier, New Orleans, USA). Rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire (RQLQ) and Sino-Nasal Outcome Test-20 (SNOT-20), cytokine in serum and nasal lavage fluid (NALF) were evaluated before and four months after initial treatment. Local and systemic side effects were evaluated. 결과:RQLQ and SNOT-20 were improved after treatment (p<0.05). There were no significant changes in cytokines.There was two cases of severe systemic reaction (anaphylaxis) and one case of severe local reaction. 결론:ILIT can rapidly improve rhinitis symptom, however ILIT can also provoke severe systemic or local hypersensitivity reaction.
