¸ñÀû: To compare the effectiveness of transoral laser cordectomy (LC), radiotherapy (RT) and combined therapy in the management of early glottic cancer. ¹æ¹ý:Records of 425 patients with early glottis cancer (T1, 2) treated between March 1995 and October 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. °á°ú:Locoregional control rate of LC, RT, and RT following LC was 90.7%, 79.2%, and 94.9%. 5-year disease free survival of each treatment modality was 94.1%, 88.3%, and 94.5%. It showed difference when comparing LC or RT following LC with RT alone (p=0.005, p=0.028). 5-year overall survival rate showed no significance between each treatment groups. °á·Ð:As an initial treatment modality for early glottis, LC seems to be oncologically safer than RT in terms of recurrence especially in T1 tumors.
