Chondromas of the larynx are rare benign cartilaginous tumors. The most common site of chondromas of the larynx is the cricoid cartilage, followed by thyroid cartilage, arytenoid cartilage, and epiglottis cartilage. The arytenoid chondroma is extremely rare. We report a case of a patient with a arytenoid chondroma mimicking laryngopharyngeal reflux at first. In some cases, it is helpful for the initial management of arytenoid chondroma to consist of a conservative surgery with close long-term follow-up. |
