목적: First time in Mongolia early detection of deafness in children diagnosed through newborn and infant hearing screening and Identification of hearing loss in children caused by the inner ear deafness. 방법:2500 newborns and infants that were born at National Child and Maternal Hospital from 2013 through 2014 were tested for newborn and infant hearing screening. Children with detectable changes in hearing were tested for ABR, OAE and Tympanometry to determine the hearing condition 결과:After the primary newborn and infant hearing screening 90 infants result out of 2500 were detected as (+) and the rest were healthy. 90 detected infants were tested for newborn and infant hearing screening 2 times with 2 months intervals. At 6 month old infants were tested for ABR, OAE and Tympanometry and detected that 2 infants deaf originated from the inner ear. 결론:Through Newborn and infants hearing screening deafness in children are detected early and treatments can be started at 8-12 month age.
