¸ñÀû: Nasal septal perforation is a complex surgical pathology. Limited
tensility of the nasal mucosa
and insufficient quantity of connective tissue hamper the repair
of the nasal septal wholeness.
Usually mucosa around the perforation has inadequate blood supply
what significantly
worsens tissue regeneration and therefore decreases rate of
successfully closed perforations. ¹æ¹ý:Nine patients underwent surgical treatment of the nasal septal
perforations. Inclusion criteria
was 1) small diameter of the perforation ( up to 0.5 cm), 2)
medium diameter of the
perforation ( from 0.5 to 2 cm) and 3) presence of the cartilage
around the edges of
perforation. We used new technique for closing of the septal
perforations in which cartilage
cuff was preserved around the perforations' edges. That created
favourable conditions for
approximation of the perforations' edges and served as the
support for the new tissue. °á°ú:Full repair of septal wholeness was in 6 cases, decrease of perforation size and
retrodisplacement was in 2 cases and in 1 case position and size remained same. °á·Ð:Newly proposed technique of septal perforations closure allows
to improve results of surgical
repair of the nasal septal wholeness and can be used in cases
when cartilage around
perforation is preserved. |
