¸ñÀû: The represented way to measure the vestibular function are a bithermal caloric test and a posturography. Although these are most ordinary used test, no one have been verifying normal range of Korean. ¹æ¹ý:This study was based on 40 people with acute vestibular neuritis and 27 age matched normal control in a tertiary medical center in Incheon from September 2014 to July 2015, and this study was implemented ROC analysis focusing on sensitivity and specificity about bithermal caloric test and condition 5, 6 of posturography by using prospective case-control study. °á°ú:The recommended value of CP, which is most important in caloric test, is 16.325% (sensitivity=0.767, specificity=0.902) but it is able to change up to 34.015% depending on using the test as a definitive diagnostic tool or the purpose of screen. The each result of equilibrium score of posturography was 51.833 (sensitivity=0.667, specificity=0.619), 60.667 (sensitivity=0.533, specificity=0.714) in condition 5, 6. °á·Ð:The purpose of this study was finding normal range of vestibular function test for Korean. And we found out that the normal range of bithermal caloric test could be used according to its use, and the normal range of reference sway equilibrium score of posturography in Korean was higher than the normal range supplied by manufacturer clearly, although most value of posturography was a similar with normal range supplied by manufacturer. The vestibular function test is not a tool for diagnosing vertiginous perception itself, so we should clarify meaning of test as basis for determining abnormality.
